I was born and raised in Ocala and left for the Army at the age of 17 shortly after graduation. Following my service, I attended the University of Central Florida, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I then pursued a Nursing degree from Rasmussen College and ultimately obtained my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Throughout my academic journey, I received multiple awards, including Magna Cum Laude honors, President’s List, Dean’s List recognition, and membership in the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. I am board certified as a Nurse Practitioner and bring over 16 years of experience working in various healthcare settings locally, including Trauma ICU, leadership roles, emergency medicine, and the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Ocala has always been my home, surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, and I remain dedicated to helping people improve their physical and mental health and overall wellness.
